How to Sell
From 0 → 60+ shoots/mo with Rendy
Rendy Spotlight: Dylan Mohr
In January 2025, Dylan quit his brewery job 🍺 And started Mohr Real Estate Media. No clients, no backup plan. On May 12th he booked his first paid shoot. 11 months later Dylan has grown Mohr to a 4-person team, has shot 290 homes, and is averaging 60+ shoots a month. "I'd definitely credit a good chunk of our growth to Rendy"

From the start, Dylan built Rendy into packages and as an easy add-on. "Not everyone wants to spend $300 on a video — but it's super easy to pitch a $50 or $150 package." But on top of the upsells, Rendy brought in new agents... "The referral effect is real too. Agents share the videos, other agents see them, and the calls come in." And this eventually lead to Dylan's largest media retainer... "One of our brokerage clients locked in as a recurring account, and I specifically credit at least half of that to you guys. They love the photo-to-video renders — they get one with every single order and they can't get enough of it." See my full convo with Dylan below.
Our full conversation with Dylan Mohr
Q: Tell us about your background — how many shoots do you handle and what does your team look like?
We started MOHR Real Estate Media in January 2025. I'd been working at a brewery for four years as a supervisor and got into Eli Jones' REPP Launch Program. The coaching was great, but more importantly it was the checklist — here's what you need to do, A to Z, to start your business in six months. So I quit my job, went all in, and didn't have a backup plan.
I'd saved up enough from tips to buy equipment and sustain about six months. Our first actual paid shoot was May 12th, so we're coming up on a year of legitimate business. From that day we've done 290 shoots total, and for the last three weeks we've been doing a minimum of 15 shoots a week — it just keeps going up. We're projecting around 360 shoots for the year, which I'm really proud of for year one. The team right now is myself, my girlfriend, and one other photographer — a friend of my brother's — who helps on bigger shoots.
Q: How do you add Rendy — is it an upsell or built in? How do you position it?
For the general public we offer three videos for $150. If they want to add the AI photo clips on top of that, it's another $100 upcharge — so $250 for the full package. Most clients just go with the $150 three-video package. I haven't pushed the photo clips as hard as I could yet, but that's a focus for the rest of 2026. For partnered teams and brokerage clients, I offer it at $99 with a $50 upcharge for the photo clips — so they're paying $100 to $150 per order and get a Rendy video with every single shoot. My VA handles the whole process on her end. I've trained her on how I like the videos and she can get everything rendered and into the media folder for the agent in under 25 minutes. I don't need to spend any time on-site capturing video — it just gets done.
Q: What results have you seen — any impact on revenue, client reactions, biggest win?
I'd definitely credit a good chunk of our growth to Rendy. One of our brokerage clients locked in as a recurring account, and I specifically credit at least half of that to you guys. They love the photo-to-video renders — they get one with every single order and they can't get enough of it. The referral effect is real too. Agents share the videos, other agents see them, and the calls come in. You show them what the videos actually look like — the leaves are moving, the water's blowing, the cars are moving — and their minds are blown.
Q: What advice would you give to someone who isn’t using Rendy yet? How should they start?
If you aren't using Rendy, you're falling behind, to be honest. AI video is going to be part of the future. It's just such a great upsell and it's so easy — not everyone wants to spend $300 on a video, but it's super easy to pitch a $50 or $150 package. And it saves me time on-site. I don't need to capture anything extra. My VA already has the photos, puts them in, and it's done in under 25 minutes. It's a no-brainer. If I were to restart today, I'd do everything exactly the same way.
